Kevin Breit (Norah Jones, Celine Dion, Serena Ryder) presents Johnny Goldtooth and the Chevy Casanovas. Recorded live at the Lula Lounge in Toronto. This performance was from his launch celebrating the Stony Plain release.

Paying tribute to a mythical crew with a sly humor dancing on the frets, Breit and company show that deadly serious musicians can have a fun side as well and it’s on display here.


Penderecki String Quartet – “Oblique Light”

"Oblique Light by Kelly-Marie Murphy, was commissioned by the Penderecki Quartet in 2016 in honour of Canada’s sesquicentennial. The work is full of technical devices:  up-bows with crescendi, trills, glissandi, harmonics, melodic lines with vibrato against accompanying material without vibrato, and end of fingerboard technique. It was recorded in the Cambridge Mill Pavilion on the Grand River in Galt, Cambridge.
